The Sunday Times appoints Scott Waters as Head of Digital; new marketing director TBA
As head of digital, Waters will be responsible for driving The Sunday Times' digital operations as it transforms into a truly multi-platform media brand.
d'Almeida said: "Having held the role of digital director for the past 18 months, Scott has demonstrated his ability to develop, deliver and optimise market leading digital products that drive traffic and revenue.
"The appetite from advertisers and consumers for sophisticated digital products continues to grow. This means that we now need Scott to solely focus on developing our brands in this space.
"Scott is a
consummate professional. He understands our brand and customers -
consumers and advertisers - like few others do. He is the perfect
candidate to drive our digital strategy in the future."

It's exciting to be leading the strategy that leverages this strong position so we can continually provide superior channels to engage our consumers and advertisers."
Waters was appointed digital director of The Sunday Times in 2011 and marketing director of the division in 2008.
Before joining The Sunday Times, Waters spent three years at iiNet as consumer marketing manager, where he led the national repositioning of the iiNet brand. Prior to iiNet, he spent four and a half years in various marketing positions at BankWest.
Waters' appointment is effective 4 February. A marketing director for The Sunday Times will be announced shortly.
