SHED hits the streets of Perth with an ambient campaign to raise the awareness of HeartKids
Said SHED's Andrew Tinning: "These aren't just stickers slapped down in
random parts of the city, they use features like cracks and holes in the
pavement along with drain grates and manhole covers etc. All integrated
into each piece as part of the visual."
SHED's Drew Ridley continues: "They aren't hidden away and slapped up for a quick photo opportunity either. Each location has been carefully chosen to maximise exposure to the public. The City of Perth have been very cooperative in issuing permits to display the messages in high-traffic areas like Forrest Chase, the Hay and Murray Street Malls, Russell Square and outside the State Theatre in Northbridge."
With the installations
needing to last the month of February and some measuring up to 4m in
length, printing was a challenge that was expertly handled by Paul Maas
and the team at Direct Image. Each artwork was digitally printed on
EarthWrap, premium non-slip floor and wall label material and
professionally installed by Adam, from National Corporate Imaging.
The project was a real family affair, with the illustrations being created by SHED's Matt and Drew Ridley and Andrew, Alix and Daniel Tinning.
Last week Shed launched the HeartKids message with a new television commercial.
