Refreshingly consistent and vice versa.
Good on you Monkeys.
Monkeys, they never let authorship get in the way of a good idea.
The double edged sword for Droga. In the HOF for his career successes, but inducted by the media prince known for his career failures..
A big thank you to the team up here in Brissy.
It’s been emotional.
Rich.
its takes that many people to copy stuff ?
Congratulations Monkeys. Very deserving win. What an incredible story of success
‘The BBC’, have a read of Tom McFarlane’s opinion piece about the hateful culture of anonymous posts. Come out from behind your ridiculous pseudonym, or shut-up. Show a little courage, then maybe get out there and do better buddy… #gutless
Congrats all ’round. Well deserved winners.
well said hendo
If it weren’t for the anonymous bloggers, who would there be to out the Monkeys on their serial violations of the intellectual property of so many other creative groups and individuals? Reference the Ship Song, The Star, and a long list of others.
There is a well respected use of public anonymity in playing the role of the whistleblower in our culture, and the labelling of anonymous posting as a hateful culture is nothing more than a naked attempt to stifle public debate and provide cover for the kind of egregious behaviour we see coming from organisations like the Monkey on a far too regular basis.
Attacking the messenger is a standard tactic from those who can’t defend their behaviour so they resort to demonising those who have the integrity to call them to account. Focus on the message of an anonymous commenter inasmuch as their identity is a misdirection play by those who seek to use their power to intimidate those who disagree with their actions and to continue acting with impunity.
What about the anonymous people who just make up lies and slander and get away with it. That’s not freedom of speech, that’s just lying with an audience and leaves the victims with no regress.
Explain why that is ok?
Nobody is lying when they say The Monkeys appropriate the majority of their work.
That’s not slander, that’s the consequences of calling yourself a creative agency when you are really someone who researches and rips shit off.
Can anybody please tell me what big brand The Monkeys ever built? Good luck to them, they obviously do great Journo lunch.
redress
oh, and grammar
Pay peanuts, get Monkeys, and Monkey see, Monkey do.
