ToddTran.jpgThe ADMA has announced that it has secured UK-based Todd Tran (left), head of brand partnerships and advertising for Rovio Entertainment, the Finnish company that created the wildly successful Angry Birds app, as a speaker at the ADMA Global Forum held in Sydney from 7-9 August.

Tran will be the international keynote in the online advertising program at ADMA Global Forum.

With 1.7 billion downloads of its Angry Birds app and consistent success with subsequent games, Tran will share the secrets of how Rovio took their little iPhone game about an angry bird and used social media, mobile and apps to create a global phenomenon.

Rovio now has one of the largest reach media platforms in the world, with video, rich media, and standard banners and interstitials. It has also recently launched one of the world’s largest video distribution networks.

Tran will be telling the story about this rapidly expanding entertainment and media powerhouse and will discuss:

  • TV’s place in mobile gaming: the launch of an industry-first video distribution network.
  • engineering a four-screen cross-channel platform
  • expand or die: infiltrating the offline world (Rovio’s expansion into merchandise, soft drinks, stores, books and mini theme parks).
