An Aussie going to Cannes this year? Get your invite to the Aussie Delegates Welcome Drinks courtesy of News Limited and Campaign Brief
Early indications suggest there are well over 400 Aussies going to Cannes this year – and delegate numbers worldwide are up from last year with more seminars and events at Cannes 2012 than ever before.
Apart from those officially registering as delegates, there are even many non delegates, as well as expats from all corners of the world.
Australia’s Cannes representative News Limited and Campaign Brief, with the generous support of Michael Cook and Lizzie Nash from Sydney-based production company The Feds (who are going to Cannes this year), will be hosting a Welcome Cocktail Party for the Aussie delegates on Monday evening, 18 June, 2012 – and we will be emailing out invites soon.
Special guests include the Australian jurors and several prominent creative directors from around the world. If you are an Aussie going to Cannes, let Lynchy know quick to secure your ticket: michael@campaignbrief.com

Little Ezza. Those were the days.
If you could guarantee naked chicks in the pool at the CB lunch again this year you’d double the numbers.
Ezaaaaaaaaaaaaa! We miss you.
Ah, those were certainly the days. Cheers curious. That was a great party.
eza immortalised in pixels. forever ..ahh
who’s the girl in that shot anyway??
She was a waitress from Nice I hired to serve drinks at our party.
She served a round of beers and then jumped in the pool. Typical.
Here’s the Cannes pre-party not to be missed: http://www.campaignbrief.com/2012/05/curious-film-to-hold-melbourne.html
Hey Grasse, she also rubbed sun cream into my back. Very happily and with exquisite skill. You sure she was a “waitress”?
We shot in Cannes that year and our production service company in NIce helped with the hiring. She was a waitress. You must be very handsome or have short arms.
