Red Rooster appoints Naked Communications as its new full-service creative agency partner
Naked Communications Australia has won the full-service creative account for Red Rooster following a competitive pitch.
Starting on 1 July 2014, Naked will take responsibility for all of the creative and PR requirements for the brand. The move in creative agencies aligns with a re-location of the majority of the Red Rooster marketing department from Perth to Sydney. The account was previously held by 303Lowe Perth.
Says Anna Jones, national marketing manager at Red Rooster: “We are very excited to bring Naked on board as our creative partner. Their energy and love for what they do is contagious and we knew they would be a perfect fit with our brand direction both current and future. Their fresh perspective, ability to think outside the box and push us past the boundaries of what we have done is critical to allowing the Red Rooster brand to evolve and grow.”
Says Carl Ratcliff, CEO of Naked Australia: “This is an extraordinary win for Naked. Red Rooster is an iconic Australian brand and possesses a special place in Australian hearts. We are delighted to have been asked to provide full service capability. We cannot wait to get our teeth into this wonderful bird.”

Good advertising will only make a bad product fail faster
When you say the Rooster has “a special place in our hearts”, would that be the special saturated fats deposited over the years?
I don’t eat chicken.
Say what you want, I love their chooks.
Has anyone told them they sell the same thing at woolies, but cheaper?
Don’t 303 lowe have an office in Sydney?
More to it me thinks…
One of the last Aussie fast food chains left (the only one?). Bring it back up to scratch Naked. Be a big win for us all if you do.
So what happened to Lowe303 in Sydney? Surely given that they have been doing a lot of the production in Sydney they should have picked it up here? Did they pitch? Or did they ‘decline to’ which is usual agency jargon for having been fired.
I didn’t realise Red Rooster still existed?
Not a single word of thanks for 10 years of hard work in that release. They must have really fallen out with 303Lowe.
