Partnering first with Fairfax Media, Adstream has integrated a new booking data auto-population functionality into Quickprint. Called Fetch Publisher Booking Data, the new feature gives users the ability to spend less time entering booking data and more time creating.

Users simply launch Quickprint, choose the publication, and enter the booking ID. The rest of the booking data then auto populates the remaining fields, saving time and eliminating potential errors.

This latest release of Quickprint includes additional improvements such as transparency flattening, font outlining, proofing and proxy notation.

It also supports Adobe Creative Cloud 2014, Quark 10, Windows 8 and OS X Mavericks.

Says Peter Miller, managing director, Adstream Australia: “We usually invest in innovations that our customers describe as important. This is a classic example of a key business partner urging us to streamline our customers’ workflow in a practical way. It took a bit of doing, but we can now provide a feature that is fast and robust.”

Says Justin Marando, studio manager, Host: “At Host, we’ve been fortunate enough to be beta testing the new QuickPrint 5.6.1 for some time. For us, the new ‘Fetch Publisher’ feature is the future of material dispatching. We now just enter the publication and booking number. Quickprint does the rest. This eliminates a lot of the manual data entry, making the process faster and more accurate every time.”
