After 25-years as the sole owner of Corporate Theatre, Vaughan Emery (far left) has accepted an offer from Presentation Technology (Australia), a privately owned company held by Perth Audiovisual owner Peter Blewett (near left).

Under the terms of the sale, Corporate Theatre Productions will continue to operate as its own business, with its own brand with Emery at the helm.

He said it marked a major milestone in the company's history.
"Corporate Theatre was one of the pioneers of business event staging in Western Australia and I am very proud of everything we've achieved over the past 25 years. This decision was about paving the way for continued success and a strong future for the company."

While not direct competitors, the move sees two of the biggest event operators in the State align.

Corporate Theatre has a proven track record for creating and delivering medium to large scale corporate events, while Perth Audiovisual is arguably the largest audiovisual operator in Western Australia.

"We do have different business models but there are a lot of synergies in our approach to business," said Emery. "We have always shared the same focus on client service, technical direction and the importance of team."

"Our skilled and experienced Corporate Theatre team will continue to create and deliver high-quality event experiences for our clients with operations from our Belmont headquarters, and our branch at Hyatt Regency Perth remaining unchanged."

Emery said it was an exciting time for the industry.

"The events industry in Western Australia is going from strength-to-strength, attracting high profile, and major events and I am looking forward to this next phase of growth."
