OMD WA faces big iiNet media review

iiNetTV_2007.jpgiiNet, one of Western Australia's largest and most prestigious accounts has put their media account up for review. According to national media reports on Mumbrella the client will invite media agencies to take part in the tender this week.

The account was awarded to OMD two years ago and only recently experienced media manager Angela Nutton was recruited to work on the business.
iiNet is quoted as a $20m account on Mumbrella but Campaign Brief sources believe the national media spend to be more around $12 million - still a very significant spend.

OMD WA also recently parted company with large real estate group Satterley to Carat. However it's not all bad news as they have won a major Lotterywest project, which is speculated to maybe open the door to the whole media account, plus also opening the door to Marketforce to regaining the agency appointment when a statutory agency review is announced next year.
