Rene Migliore and Cameron Mack lead new talent joining IPG Mediabrands and Initiative Perth

Rene Migliore, Clive Bingwa, Cameron Mack_Aug2015_BLOG.jpgFormer SHEDcsc managing partner Rene Migliore (pictured far left) has been named communications planning director at Initiative Perth as the most senior of new appointments announced this week by IPG Mediabrands and Initiative Perth MD Clive Bingwa (centre left).

“We have some great new talent joining the business to continue driving momentum that has been building at the Initiative and group levels for some time,” said Bingwa. “I am truly thrilled that an executive of Rene’s calibre is making a career change to a media communications role. He is hugely experienced in client leadership and has great vision for how our industry is evolving.”

Migliore will work across Initiative and IPG Mediabrands businesses. He was managing partner at the award-winning SHED for two years and prior to that he was with 303LOWE for seven years, rising to group business director and head of business management.

As well as Migliore, Cameron Mack (above far right) is joining Initiative Perth as strategy lead. Prior to joining the agency Mack was strategy director for OMD Western Australia as well as a channel planner at Meerkats.

Also joining Initiative Perth is Aaron Bryant, as account manager. Bryant has been multiply integration manager at MCN in Sydney, agency account manager at Macquarie Radio Network in Sydney as well holding senior media planner/buyer roles at Razor Sydney and 303Lowe Perth and Sydney.

Migliore said of his move to Mediabrands and Initiative: “I have been highly attracted to the breadth of communications skills at Mediabrands and how effective those skills are for clients. I am looking forward to helping Clive and the team continue to grow the business’s footprint in WA.”

DonaChoi_BLOG.jpgInitiative Perth also announced the transfer of Louise Crawford to sister Mediabrands agency Ensemble as an integrated producer and Dona Choi (pictured left) to Initiative Sydney.

“It’s great that Lou and Dona are expanding their horizons within the group,” said Bingwa. “This reflects our heritage of being able to foster and reward talent and build careers domestically and internationally.”
