YakubErogul.jpgYakub Erogul, Creative Director and co-founder of boutique Perth multi-disciplinary agency Milkable, has been recognised as one of Australia's brightest young talents, being named Young Achiever of the Year at the 2015 B&T Awards in Melbourne recently.

Erogul (pictured near left with The Chaser's Craig Reucassel) beat contenders from some of the country's biggest marketing and media agencies, with other finalists hailing from the Sydney offices of UM Australia, PHD Media and Sling & Stone. He was the only WA finalist in his category and one of only two winners from WA on the night, with Seven West Media taking out the award for Media Sales Team of the Year.

Erogul said he was honoured to have picked up the award, which was reflective of the work the Milkable team produced.
"It really means a lot to be recognised in a national contest alongside some of the industry's greatest - it's humbling," he said. "To be representing the Milkable team alongside some of the biggest national and international names in marketing and PR was a great experience. At Milkable we work closely together to ensure we deliver the most innovative and creative work possible for our clients, so this recognises the commitment and achievements of the whole team. It could not have happened at a better time as we continue to expand our services and presence in Sydney and Melbourne."

With a CV including editorial artist, art director and web designer and developer roles, Erogul joined forces with business partners and colleagues Colin Paterson and Harley Spick to establish Milkable in 2012.

A more than 35-year veteran of the marketing and advertising industry, Paterson said Erogul's talents had been evident from their initial meeting eight years ago, when he explained he'd been working as a designer in his father's graphic design business since he was nine years old.

"Working with Yakub was one of the best decisions of my professional life," he said. "In 2012, we established Milkable as a creative vehicle for Yakub and his team to express their incredible creative talents. The amazing work and results delivered for local and national clients since then speaks volumes."
