SAMPSON-LOGIES.jpgGruen, the ABC’s mega successful advertising panel show, picked up the Logie for Most Outstanding Entertainment Programme at the 58th Logie Awards, presented last night at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne.

Gruen, orginally named The Gruen Transfer, first went to air in 2008, produced by Andrew Denton’s production company Zapruder’s Other Films. In 2011 Denton created a ‘super indie’ production company by merging Zapruder with Cordell Jigsaw to form Cordell Jigsaw Zapruder. In June 2013 Denton sold his share in the company to pursue other creative interests.
