4 (1).jpgAward winning creative Joe Hawkins (pictured) has left 303 MullenLowe to begin a creative group head role at Marketforce.

Hawkins returned to Perth just over two years ago, having spent eight years working at some of the region's best creative agencies, including DDB New Zealand, R/GA Singapore, and Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney.
He's been awarded at every major local and international award show, most recently picking up three Silvers at the London International Awards for his IKEA radio work.  He's also had the rare honour of winning New Zealand's FairGo Best Ad Award - a publicly voted televised award - two years in a row for his work with MasterCard and the All Blacks.

Hawkins said joining Marketforce was a homecoming of sorts, as it's the agency he interned at 15 years ago, and where co Creative Directors Pat Lennox and Ben Green were both working at the time.

"It's funny how these things work out. I've admired Pat and Ben's work for bloody ages, and we've kept in touch over the years. Needless to say when the casual chats started turning a little more casual job interview, I was pretty excited", said Hawkins.

"We're thrilled to have someone of Joe's calibre in our agency," said Lennox. "His combination of local, national and international experience is rare in this market, and it's something we believe is of great benefit to our clients. We all can't wait to get started."

Hawkins is the latest of several senior staff to have left 303 MullenLowe, including Head of Art Ross Dungey who left at the end of last year to join Likeable Creative.

While Hawkins is joining Marketforce, the agency's Chief Digital Officer, Alice Manners, has departed. Manners, a former CEO of the Interactive Advertising Bureau was appointed to the newly created role in August 2016 but resigned at the end of the year.
