Perth Radio Survey 1/2017 released

GfK_Perth_Survey1_2017_Share_BLOG.jpgThe first GfK Metro Radio Survey for 2017 has been released today - and it's a good start for 96FM.

Mix 94.5 has retained the #1 position P10+, despite a 1.4% drop to a 14.3% share.

Nova 93.7 is #2 P10+ on 12.4%, up 0.6%. The station had monster rises in P10-17 (+10.7% to 37.2%) and P18-24 (+8.4% to 22.4%)

hit92.9 is #3 on 9.4%, a fall of -2.0% from S8/2016.

At #4, 96FM will be encouraged by it's increase of 1.8% to an 8.7% share, having re-launched this year with a 'Real Gold' positioning. Underpinning that P10+ result were rises in every demo up to P55-64. The station was +1.1% to 6.1% in 10-17s; +1.7% to 7.0% in 18-24s; +3.3% to 10.3% in 25-39s; and +4.1% to 15.6% in 40-54s.

It also recorded rises in every session, albeit that they are all still in single figures.

It was an average result for 6PR, which was -0.9% to 7.3% P10+ and -1.6% to 9.6% in P55-64. It's P65+ share was stable at 14.7%.

6IX will be encouraged by a double-figure result in its heartland P55-64 demo, up 4.6% to 12.7%.
In the Battle of Breakfast, mix 94.5's Clairsy, Matt & Kymba retained the #1 commercial position with a rise of 1.3% to 13.8%.

In Cumulative Audience, Nova 93.7 led the way with 555,000 listeners. It was the only station to record a Cume of more than 500,000.

Mix 94.5 recorded the biggest Average Audience of 31,000 P10+.
