A new era for The Brand Agency as it moves out of West Perth and into the CBD at Kings Square

After 26 years in its iconic West Perth office, which was also home to McCann Erickson Perth before them, The Brand Agency and its 90 team members have moved into their new home at the new Kings Square development on Wellington Street. Located in the Perth City Link precinct, Kings Square is one of Australia's most significant CBD urban renewal developments.

The Brand Agency's General Manager, Nick Bayes (pictured above right with CEO Steve Harris), said it was a very exciting move for the agency.

"When Kings Square and Yagan Square are complete, it will be the bustling new heart of the CBD, the link between the city and Northbridge. It will be home to a number of international and multi-national businesses, cafes, restaurants, bars, green open spaces, a childcare centre, a gym and great access to public transport," said Bayes.
"For us it's a smart business and strategic move. While our West Perth office served us well, we needed more space and our business offering has changed drastically in recent years. We also want to be the employer of choice and offer the best possible working environment and facilities. The move also coincides with the launch of our new strategic purpose and website."

Amongst the state-of-the-art facilities, the new office includes a full audio-visual studio and filming facilities, a 30-seat cafĂ© and problem solving incubators. The office design is based upon the findings from a tour conducted by Bayes and CEO, Steve Harris to a number of businesses in Silicon Valley.

"We knew we didn't have to reinvent the wheel, but cherry-pick the best of what we saw and I think we've come up with something pretty spectacular and custom-made for a 21st century communications business."

The project was delivered ahead of schedule and to an industry leading standard by design company Incorp, construction and building company CDI and project managers CBRE.

"Moving location for us is part of the continuing change we are instigating in our business, building on our successful past and putting the infrastructure in place for further growth and diversification in the future," said Bayes. "The response from the team has been overwhelming and we are loving our new home."

"the new office includes a full audio-visual studio and filming facilities"...that doesn't auger very well for the local studio scene, does it!
