Planning Idol call for entries closing soon; deadline for submissions Wednesday, 18 Oct

Screen Shot 2017-09-06 at 10.00.31 am.jpgThe Account Planning Group’s biannual competition for Australia’s young planning talent is open but there is only five days left to enter with entries closing next Wednesday, October 18.

The APG is on the hunt for the 2017 APG Planning Idol. Everyone answers the same brief, so it is a level playing field, ensuring the quality of strategic thinking alone will decide the winner.

Entries Close: Wednesday 18th October 2017

Award presentation: Thursday 16th November 2017

Entry fees:

Members: Free

Non-members: $55

Students: $45

Who can enter?

Anyone in Australia who believes they have a planning talent and are 30 years or under (on October 1st 2017).  You don’t need to work in planning, advertising, or even be a member of the Comms Council (although entry is free if you are).

The Client

The brief this year is from is from Australian Red Cross and tackles the issue of deep social exclusion.

Rules of entry

All entries must respond to the brief with a written paper of no more than 1500 words (excluding tables, graphs, and synopsis). An additional synopsis of no more than 200 words must also be included at the beginning of your paper. All entries must be submitted as a PDF document.
