About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, you will manage a portfolio of advertising agencies to sell audience solutions and achieve sales targets across APN Outdoor's multiple product portfolio. 

You will:
  • Develop long term relationships with clients to grow and nurture revenue and media spend
  • Respond to briefs and prepare client proposals to negotiate business
  • Collaborate with product & strategy team to pitch new and innovative proactive ideas
  • Develop strategic sales approaches to generate new revenue opportunities and grow market share in your territory
  • Collaborate with Campaign Delivery team to ensure your clients' campaigns are delivered effectively 
  • Build a strong market presence and networks to maximise growth opportunities
About You
You will have previous sales experience and plenty of enthusiasm and energy, the ability to learn and grow and the ambition to build a career in Outdoor media. 

What you will bring:
  • Superb influencing and negotiation skills 
  • A demonstrable history of territory management and sales growth
  • Initiative, self-confidence and resilience
  • A customer-first approach
  • Highly organised and great attention to detail
  • Prior media experience is advantageous but not essential

As a result of our continuing growth, MCN currently has a vacancy for a TV Sales Account Co-ordinator within our Perth team. This role would ideally suit highly motivated and career driven individuals, looking to establish themselves in the exciting media industry. We welcome university graduates and candidates with 6-12 months experience. This role provides support to the day-to-day co-ordination of advertising sales activities to ensure the effective operation of the business.

The main responsibilities of this role are to monitor and handle all incoming enquiries, including the follow up of all agency requests, and to manage the booking process from beginning to end. This role would suit someone with excellent administration skills who has a passion for selling and is willing to go above and beyond to deliver results.

To be successful you must:

  • Be self-motivated;
  • Have meticulous accuracy and attention to detail;
  • A great multi-tasker; and
  • Be deadline driven.

The Christmas period is upon us. Where did the bloody year go? We've had a cracker of a year at ST, a slow January was followed by ten full-on months of projects, solving some exciting challenges along the way. 

We've grown from 3 to 6 staff in the past 12 months and about to embark on a big new chapter in SEVENTWENTY's evolution - keep your eyes peeled.

We wanted to use our weekly gig column for the next few weeks as a quick thank you note to you, the lovely people that make our industry so fun and challenging to partner with. Perth and Brisbane are tightly knit markets full of caring and warm people, you provide us with all of the curveballs and laughter we need to fuel our brains, and we are grateful that the businesses we work with closely value our candid advice and expertise, and of course our wisdom and humour. :)

It's a good time to catch up and explore what's ahead for 2018. We're busy working with some clients on roadmaps for their staff, not only in terms of defining business needs but also what attributes staff need to pick up to achieve their own goals. Reach out if you're keen for a chat.
