Perth's leading Custom Display & Exhibition business is seeking an Account Manager to take on a client relationship position working across a diverse industry base.

This role will suit a creative individual with a flair for sales and strong customer relationship skills. Attention to detail is vital. The environment is fast paced and deadline driven.

To be considered for the role you will need:
  • To have good communication skills - presentation and sales negotiation
  • Preferably come from an Sales/Account Management/ role in a related environment 
  • A creative mindset with an understanding of graphics and industrial design
  • Experience in client relationship management, obtaining briefs and translating their requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to resolve issues
  • Previous telephone based B2B sales - essential
  • High level of computer literacy preferably with previous CRM experience
  • Essential to be able to work out of hours and occasional weekends
  • To be outgoing, results oriented, interested, engaged and passionate about the industry
  • Must have own motor vehicle and current licence

MCN currently has a vacancy for an Account Manager within the Sales team in Perth. The Account Manager will be responsible for maximizing a combination of TV and Digital revenue for MCN across a wide portfolio of channels and sites.

The Account Manager is required to develop and service relationships with Media agencies, Digital agencies and key clients to provide strategic and creative sales opportunities across MCN channels.

The broad responsibilities for this role include:
  • Reaching revenue targets each month and quarter; including personal targets, team targets, channel targets and site targets;
  • Build and nurture relationships with Media agencies and Digital agencies and ensure that campaigns deliver value;
  • Proactively develop timely and relevant briefs with new, creative and sellable ideas;
  • Acquire new advertisers and retain existing advertisers;
  • Demonstrate teamwork by working effectively and liaising with internal departments as well as external parties;
  • Effectively manage a co-ordinator by monitoring performance against targets and KPI's, conducting regular performance reviews and planning and executing formal and informal training;
  • Ensure booking schedules are accurate and oversee campaign delivery and post analysis; Being proactive in sourcing opportunities to address revenue needs;
  • Track revenue against targets.
We are looking for a talented and driven individual who is passionate, knowledgeable and excited about the media landscape, TV Sales and the digital space. This role would ideally suit someone who has had substantial (3+) experience in Broadcast advertising Sales, Agency Sales or Digital advertising and/or a similar role.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate the following attributes:
  • Technical understanding and capability;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs;
  • Ability to present to individuals and groups and construct excellent documentation supporting responses to brief and proactive proposals;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both externally and internally;
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise, time manage and multi-task;
  • Broad understanding of Mobile and Programmatic platforms.
