LCW_303_CorpHQ_1071_V01_BLOG.jpgUnited Studio has picked up two Commendations at the Design Institute of Australia (DIA) WA Awards recently, scoring a commendation for the redesign of 303 MullenLowe's heritage offices, and a commendation for Coast at Port Beach, both a collaborative effort with 303 MullenLowe's Perth team.

Before relocating to the second level of the former Commonwealth Bank Building in Perth's CBD earlier this year, 303 MullenLowe worked with David Smith, Design Director at United Studio, to create an environment that fuels creativity and immerses clients in 303's creative process. The project has scored one of only three commendations in the Commercial category at the WA DIA Awards.
Judges described 303 MullenLowe's offices as a "striking and authentic creative environment that respects the heritage building it sits within".

Meanwhile, 303 MullenLowe and United Studio were also recognised for their collaboration at Coast. After a two-year rebuild and repositioning, the agency worked with brand environment specialist David Smith to ensure the brand idea was reflected in all aspects of the business.

Smith said: "Given there were only three commendations in the Commercial category - and one of those was for Arup by Hassell - I am extremely proud to see 303 MullenLowe's offices recognized as this year's DIA Awards. As for Coast, it just goes to show what can be achieved working with a great agency and a great client.
