New APN Outdoor CEO James Warburton commences national roadshow in Perth

Following the announcement in October last year, APN Outdoor's new CEO, James Warburton, officially started at the company on January 22. The media veteran launched into the position with a nation-wide roadshow, bringing his vision for the company's future to life in a series of intimate events with key agency heads and clients. Perth was Warburton's first stop last Monday, and he will travel the country before finishing in Sydney on February 15.

Warburton's trip west came in the same week Cannes Lions announced that APN Outdoor are to become the Festival Representative in Australia.
Warburton said APN Outdoor was "incredibly excited" to be Australia's representative for the world's biggest festival of creativity.

"As a business, we are continually investing and innovating in our assets to ensure we can provide the most effective canvas for brands' creativity to reach their audiences. We see the partnership with Cannes Lions as a similar proposition - an exciting opportunity to both drive engagement with Cannes Lions down under and to support creative agencies and clients to participate and succeed in this globally renowned showcase".

The Festival Representatives are a global network of organisations in over 90 countries that believe in the power of creativity to drive change, impact businesses and influence the world for the better.

And locally, APN Outdoor has appointed a new Account Manager, Savannah Lorenzin, most recently of regional television sales at GWN7.

WA Sales Director Phil Dada said "At APN Outdoor we are committed to a culture of high-performance and we are excited to be able to welcome Savannah to our team. She is already proving an enthusiastic addition and ready to immerse herself into the world of Outdoor."
