The 2018 Campaign Brief Awards.

After party with 'Daft Punk'.

The Ballroom at Crown Towers from 7.00pm

We're in the Crown Towers Ballroom, commencing at 7.00pm. Of course, if you want to come earlier, Crown has lots of great bars to have a 'starter' in with your buds. Doors will open at 7.15 and you'll need to be in and seated by 7.30. We need to get the show on the road!

Tickets - and wrist bands - please
By now everyone should have their tickets and all-important wrist bands. Being in such a public place security will be very tight, so you must be wearing your wrist band to gain access.

Bring some money - folding and gold coins required
Remember, the Oasis Ball is in support of our charity - The Salvation Army's Crossroads West programme - so we need your help.  There's lots happening throughout the event for a gold coin donation, so bring some...or a lot!

There's two photo booths thanks to SBS (a gif gif booth) and News Corp. Jump in and get a Facebook-worthy photo with your besties.

There are two monumental Cocktail Bars sponsored by oOh! Media that will be serving two special cocktails for a gold coin:
'G&T2049' - Gin & Tonic over ice with a dehydrated orange wheel.
'Cyber-oOh!' - Vodka & Soda charged with Red Bull over ice.

The bars open after Part 1 of the Campaign Brief Awards and close at 12pm but remember,
there's no change, so if you hand over a $50 note The Salvation Army thanks you for your generosity!

There's an Arcade Games Gallery with 20 games, thanks to ARN | 96fm. No change given!
Like the bars, it opens around 8pm with games including Simpsons 4 Player, Mortal Kombat, Twin Driving Game, Big Buck HD Twin Gun Game and Dance Machine.

A gold coin gets you in to the Arcade Games precinct and then you can play for free. But remember, if you leave the area, it's another gold coin to get back in.

Best Dressed
If you're feeling particularly glamorous, come over to the Campaign Brief + Seven West Media Media 'Best Dressed at the Oasis Ball' set and have your photo taken by the brilliant Nina Otranto. You never know, you could win a $700 shopping card for Claremont Quarter.

It opens after the first set of Campaign Brief Awards around 8.00pm.

QATAR_SKY_A380.jpgWin a trip with Qatar Airways in the Raffle
The other reason you need some real, folding money is for the Raffle and there are three great prizes to be won.

The major prize is Return Economy Airfares for two people to any of Qatar Airways 150 destinations around the world.

Plus, there are two second prizes of $1000 Crown Perth vouchers to spoil yourself, family or friends.

It's just $20 for 1 ticket or $50 for 3. Tickets will be in bags on your table when you arrive so dive straight in and buy some to be in the running. They will be collected from 9.30 with the winners announced on-stage at 10.30pm.

2018WineSelection_BLOG.jpgLots to choose from in the Silent Auction
Make sure you check out all the exciting items on offer in this year's Silent Auction.

As usual, there's something for everyone including a Private Dining Experience for 10 people, a Mexican Beach Vacation for up to 8 guests, a Perth Wildcats Inner Sanctum Experience, a Mega Fast Karts Party Package as well as heaps of hospitality, cinema and retail vouchers.

Download the full list of items here: SILENT_AUCTION_10_04_2018.pdf

PLUS you could create an instant cellar with the CEO's Selection. Thanks to the generosity of the industry's heavyweights (and one lightweight) there are three selections to bid on, all of which include some top drops. They'll be on display and up for sale in the Silent Auction area too.

The Campaign Brief Awards
The Campaign Brief Awards will once again be presented, in two parts.

Part 1 will showcase 11 exclusive creative awards for Best of Year across Press, Radio, Television, Out of Home, Experiential, Digital, Data and Integrated Campaign.

Part 2 will showcase our 7 industry awards: Supernova of the Year, Media Organisation of the Year, Helen Filov Media Agency of the Year, Challenger or Specialist Agency of the Year, Ad Person of the Year, Advertiser of the Year and Agency of the Year.

As always, there will be plenty of surprises and lots to celebrate.

A short, sharp, brilliant Major Auction
With most of the Major Auction being held in the Crystal Club prior to the Ball, it will be a much shorter Auction in the Ballroom with 6 items going under the hammer. Some fantastic holiday packages, a great West Coast Eagles experience + media package, and a unique wall mural are up for grabs.

Check out the details HERE.

Party After the Party
The main part of the evening will be all done-and-dusted by around 11.00pm. But then the epic After Party by MCN kicks-off and kicks-on until 2.00am, with some very cool tunes from our Daft Punk tribute band. Get lucky!

Get out
Last drinks will be served at 1.45am and the whole event concludes at 2.00am. But hey - you're at Crown so there are plenty of places to go if you want to keep going. There's always a few people who put in a huge effort and see the sun come up on Saturday.

Whenever you leave, please make sure you get home safely. We want you back next year.

Big, big thanks to everyone

The Oasis Ball is a monumental undertaking made possible by the generous support and assistance of so many people and organisations and the Oasis Organising Committee thanks each and every one of them.

So now it's over to you to come along and play your part. Remember, as well as being a great party, the Oasis Ball supports the Salvation Army's Crossroads West program for youth at risk.

It's a great cause run by some unbelievably caring, dedicated people and they really need and appreciate our help. Please dig deep and help make this the most successful Oasis Ball ever.

See you tomorrow night!
