Adam McGlashan, Campaign Brief Supernova of the Year Finalist, has joined Block as an Account Manager.

McGlashan, who was previously Account Manager on the RAC WA and Homebuyers Centre accounts at JWT Perth, will be working alongside Block's Director of Strategy & Client Delivery Emma Watton.

"Adam's strategic approach to account management fits perfectly with the Block collaborative approach," said Watton, "He is a natural planner and we are thrilled to have one of the rising super-stars of the WA communications industry join us. In a few short weeks he is already putting some major runs on the board."
McGlashan will be working on Block's Celebration Homes account as well as a stable of projects for a diverse range of clients in sectors from local government to alcohol.

"The opportunity to work in a business that not only creates tactical communications campaigns, but also works with like-minded, entrepreneurial companies to build brands from the ground up was what attracted me to Block," commented McGlashan, "The chance to get involved on a very deep level with clients and to really work collaboratively to solve business issues is a challenge that excites me."

McGlashan will join an exceptional team of young creative talent including PADC Diamond Skulls Designer of the Year winner Louis Boys, Emerging Craftsperson finalist Cam Murray and two-time Student Skulls winner Rachel Boon.

The appointment comes on the back of a busy period for Block that has seen them pick up several strategic projects within the ABN Group and expanding destination marketing and place-making work for clients including the City of Swan and the City of Mandurah along with multiple property projects across greenfields and apartment development sectors.
