Two new directors for Beautiful Pictures

Beautiful Pictures has added new directors Matt Sav (pictured top) and Frank Carroll (bottom) to its esteemed roster.

Sav cut his teeth in photography and design, and brings his striking, unique visual style to the screen, whilst Carroll's passion for engaging audiences through smart storytelling and nuanced performances make both of these young guns valuable additions to the Beautiful Pictures line-up.

They join other recent directorial additions Luke Sargon (centre left) Mike Oldershaw (centre right) and Brett Ludeman.

Sargon was the creative mind behind the beautiful seven-part Thermomix 'Food Moods' campaign via Meerkats last year. Recently, his intrepid nature has seen him shooting and directing a self-funded documentary in the US. He has now returned to WA and brought his flair to a humorous Lotterywest spot via Longtail.  

Oldershaw is responsible for the current Alinta Energy winter retail campaign, with enthusiastic presenters being comically walloped by a 12ft banner, as well as the recently launched TABtouch campaign for Racing and Wagering WA via The Brand Agency.
Ludeman worked on the ALS 'Project Revoice' documentary, which won a Gold Lion and the 'Grand Prix for Good' at Cannes in June. He also directed the current Ashley and Martin 'Turning Point' campaign for &Partners, which was featured on Gruen.

Established Beautiful Pictures directors Renée Webster, Miranda Edmonds and Emma Tomelty have also been busy.

Webster is finishing up on episodes of ABC's new drama series The Heights.

Edmonds directed the new Cash Converters 'Flip it' campaign, while continuing to develop her long-form projects.

And Tomelty is finishing a new TVC for a local client, which will be released soon.

Executive Producer Kate Downie said "With a team like that, the second half of 2018 is set to be absolutely Beautiful!"
