After a competitive national selection process, Gatecrasher has been appointed the Cancer Council's Relay For Life campaign.

Relay For Life is a major community fundraising challenge which runs over 130 events across the country every year with thousands of participants walking, jogging, pushing prams around a track for 24 hours.

"We were delighted to have been selected for this national campaign and extend our working relationship with Cancer Council," said Tony Scampoli, Gatecrasher MD. "In amongst a plethora of other activity based events and fundraising initiatives, we needed to relaunch the Relay For Life and to engage all those touched by cancer in Australia into action and register to participate."
Relay For Life is a community fundraising challenge for Cancer Council. Teams of friends, families and colleagues raise money in the lead up to an overnight event, where team members take turns walking around a track to signify that cancer never sleeps.

Gatecrasher creative partner Adam Barker said the TVC is very true to the event itself and the reason people get involved.

"People are usually participating to remember a loved one or support someone going through cancer. The creative device using light projections to highlight the names of people goes directly to core of this."
