BeauWaters_BLOG.jpgSeven West Media WA Chief Revenue Officer Beau Waters (pictured) has announced he is leaving the business, following his wife's decision to take up a position in Dallas, which will see the couple relocate to to the US.

Waters joined SWM in November last year, and was recruited by former CEO John Driscoll, who himself resigned in May this year after just eight months.

Regarding his decision, Waters said "This is the toughest decision in my professional career, as I am loving the role and the team here at Seven West Media. I am moving to the U.S. to support my wife Hannah who has landed her dream job in Dallas, Texas. Seven West Media WA is in a great place, and we have an amazing leadership team who will continue to drive the initiatives that I am proud to have been a part of since arriving at the organisation last year".

Maryna Fewster, Seven West Media WA CEO, said "Beau has had an incredible impact on the culture and business results in his time with the company, and we will be sad to see him go. Given the nature of his move, he has given us the courtesy of a lengthy notice period, and he will play a part in the recruitment process to fill this role".

It continues an unprecedented spate of senior moves within the Western Australian industry, which also includes the announcement this week of the departures of GM & Head of Strategy Paul Hindle and senior media manager Lisa Coyle from media agency OMD.
