Rare debuts national campaign featuring Nicole Harrison for new client Kailis Australian Pearls

MG Kailis Group has appointed Rare to its Kailis Australian Pearls account. Kailis Jewellery is recognised internationally for its quality, contemporary style and versatile designs.

Rare's first work is an integrated campaign for the Kailis Australian Pearls 40th anniversary collection. The national campaign, appearing in outdoor, digital and print, features international model Nicole Harrison who is originally from Perth and now based in New York, as well as iconic North West Australian imagery. Both were shot by internationally celebrated fashion photographer Simon Lekias.

"After we recently launched our unique 'Inspiring Women' campaign I was looking for an agency who could take an equally fresh approach for the collection campaign. I've worked with the team from Rare before; under very tight timeframes, their immediate grasp and understanding of our brand and their craftsmanship-like approach to design equalled any agency I've ever worked with. We're looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship."

The Australian chapter of the Kailis family began in 1978 with husband and wife team Michael and Dr Patricia Kailis OBE who were among the pioneers in pearl farming in the pristine waters off the remote north coast of Western Australia. Using only the finest pearls from their annual harvests, the exclusive brand now has showrooms throughout Australia, New Zealand, and selected international retailers.

The campaign launched in print in September with the outdoor rolling out this month.
