BMF Melbourne makes first creative hire with David Klein and Jol Temple coming on board

Dave Klein copy.jpgEXCLUSIVE – BMF has announced the first major creative hire for their Melbourne office by snaring David Klein (left) as associate creative director and Jol Temple as senior copywriter, effective November 23.

Klein, currently head of art at Leo Burnett, Melbourne, where he has been since February, 2008, previously worked at Mojo Melbourne on award winning campaigns for Tourism Victoria, Nike, Nestle and several of the popular Toyota AFL Footy Moments ads. His work for Nestle Drumstick ‘summer rituals’ was awarded ‘Ad of the year’ by B&T and was recognised at Cannes, Clio, the New York Festivals, AWARD and MADC.

Says BMF creative director Simon Langley: “We’ve always admired Dave’swork on big brands, and we even tried to get him up to Sydney a whileback. Together with Jol’s experience in long-form they will be a greataddition to the BMF creative department and our integrated model”.

joel-Temple-web.jpgTemple (left) is back in Australia after nearly two years at Deutsch, LosAngeles as senior writer on PlayStation, working on awarded campaignsfor PSP and Little Big Planet. Prior to this Temple worked at Euro RSCGand Leo Burnett Sydney, and when he isn’t writing ads he writesscreenplays with a feature scheduled to shoot in Florida later thisyear.
