BMF Melbourne makes first creative hire with David Klein and Jol Temple coming on board

Dave Klein copy.jpgEXCLUSIVE - BMF has announced the first major creative hire for their Melbourne office by snaring David Klein (left) as associate creative director and Jol Temple as senior copywriter, effective November 23.

Klein, currently head of art at Leo Burnett, Melbourne, where he has been since February, 2008, previously worked at Mojo Melbourne on award winning campaigns for Tourism Victoria, Nike, Nestle and several of the popular Toyota AFL Footy Moments ads. His work for Nestle Drumstick 'summer rituals' was awarded 'Ad of the year' by B&T and was recognised at Cannes, Clio, the New York Festivals, AWARD and MADC.
Says BMF creative director Simon Langley: "We've always admired Dave's work on big brands, and we even tried to get him up to Sydney a while back. Together with Jol's experience in long-form they will be a great addition to the BMF creative department and our integrated model".

joel-Temple-web.jpgTemple (left) is back in Australia after nearly two years at Deutsch, Los Angeles as senior writer on PlayStation, working on awarded campaigns for PSP and Little Big Planet. Prior to this Temple worked at Euro RSCG and Leo Burnett Sydney, and when he isn't writing ads he writes screenplays with a feature scheduled to shoot in Florida later this year.

Says BMF executive creative director Warren Brown: "Dave and Jol are an exciting addition to BMF and both understand what we're trying to do for our clients. We look forward to them developing the BMF culture in our Melbourne office".

Says Klein: "BMF has consistently produced some of the best work in Australia. To be part of their move to Melbourne is fantastic."

Adds Temple: "To be part of such a creative agency, in such a creative city, is an exciting prospect. Dave and I are looking forward to doing some great work."
