Mistress expands to bigger Venice Beach boudoir
Mistress LA, started up by ex BMF Sydney and Mother London creatives Damien Eley and Scott Harris, has had enough early success to be already moving to bigger office space right on the beach in LA’s Venice.
Aside from helping founding client, coconut water Vita Coco, to the top of an exploding market in the US, they have engaged with two other global clients on short-term projects (strict NDA’s apply but more details will follow shortly) and are also working closely with a high profile LA advertising agency.
They are also manufacturing their own brand of tandem bicycles – “theperfect metaphor for our agency model,” says Eley – called ‘TheMistress’ which they plan to market and distribute globally.
Ontop of that, Mistress is exhibiting art by partner Blake E. Marquisalongside Shepard Fairey, as well as designing a book for the PolaroidProject featuring Jack Black, Sarah Silverman and others.

Does Mistress have a website for us to look at some of their work?
It’s gonna be a bitch to hang those pictures up somewhere else. Hope they’ve got spak filler for the old walls or they won’t get their bond back.
