Australia wins five Film Lions with Gold to Droga5 Sydney and Leo Burnett, Silver to Meerkats and Colman Rasic, Bronze to Saatchi & Saatchi

Australia had an impressive performance in the Film Lionspicking up five overall – with two Gold, two Silver and one Bronze. Droga5Sydney won Gold for Foster’s VB’s ‘Regulars’ and Leo Burnett Sydney won Gold for WWF’s’Monkey’.

Silver went to Meerkats Perth for the HBF campaign ‘WorkingLess’ and ‘How it used to be’.  

Colman Rasic Sydney also won a Silver Lion for MTV ExitFoundation’s ‘Goodnight, Travel Well’.

Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney was awarded a Bronze Lion forLion Nathan’s Toohey’s New campaign ‘Nana’ and ‘SMS‘.

New Zealand failed to pick up any Film Lions. The Grand Prixwent to Wieden + Kennedy Portland for Old Spice’s ‘The Man your Man Could SmellLike’

18 Aussie entries were on the shortlist, with Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney leading the way with six entries through, followed by The Campaign Palace Sydney with three and Leo Burnett Sydney and Meerkats, Perth with two apeice.
