Remy Brassac appointed chairman of the Communications Council’s Qld committee

Remy_Brassac-web.jpgRemy Brassac, managing director of Brisbane’s Gallery De Pasquale, has been appointed the chairman of the Communications Council’s Queensland committee at its recent meeting. He brings a wealth of experience from an account management background.

Brassac takes the role as chairman with the intention to help provide committee members and the wider Queensland communications industry with a supportive framework that increases profitability and robustness and inspires creativity and excellence.

Brassac said his committee’s objectives are to evolve an alreadytalented workforce into highly skilled professionals within alldisciplines and forging stronger mutually respectful partnershipsbetween clients and agencies: “I am delighted and honored to have beennominated by my peers as Chair of the Communication Council Committeein Queensland. It is an exciting time and I will step up to the markwith passion and gusto.” he said.

Remy is managing director and partner of the newly formed independentcommunications agency Gallery de Pasquale. He joined communicationagency Gallery in 2004 to assist in its growth and diversification asHead of Account Management. Within twelve months, Gallery grew by 40%and Remy was appointed as Managing Director. Since 2005, Gallery’sportfolio of Clients diversified dramatically with the agency attainingan array of Clients within the retail, fast food, fmcg, service,tourism, insurance and Government sectors securing Queensland’s highestprofile Social Marketing campaigns such as Eat Well Be Active and theState Government’s binge drinking campaign ‘Every Drink Counts’.

Brassac’s passion and success for the business convinced him to investin Gallery and become a business partner. In January 2009, he oversawthe acquisition and merger of Brisbane creative agency De PasqualeAdvertising becoming Gallery De Pasquale.

Prior to Gallery De Pasquale, Brassac forged his advertising skills atMcCann-Erickson Brisbane for three years after his career started atCoo’ee Brisbane.
