Really poorly researched – after that whole “Orangutan fingers” ad regarding the use of Palm Oil in Nestle products (where the guy bites into a hairy orangutan’s finger), this ad basically tells me “you’re eating a monkey.” This ad is probably the biggest turn-off for a food commercial I have ever seen. Just making it “so random” will NOT make it go viral. Awful, awful work.
Sting palm of a commercial. I thought nothing could turn me off chocolate. I like Cadbury’s new packaging but this makes me not want to even look at them. Poorly thought out and poorly made.

Yet another example of no credits for a crap piece of work. Still, if I’d done this I wouldn’t have wanted my name on it either. Why doesn’t Lynchy make it compulsory to have credits on any piece of work that is going up on this site? Seems only fair.

1st problem….it’s one of those ‘mockumentary’ v.o. type ads we have seen for decades, that construct is dead, should have been left in the 90’s…so FAIL.
2nd problem…it’s just not funny. FAIL.
3rd problem…the ugly uncrafted product shots and end supers…FAIL
4th problem…it feels like advertising de-evolved here. arent we supposed to be trying to not produce this kind of rubbish. spend our money more wisely. cute little tiny buttony chocolatey thingys are fun and should be treated that was. i think the people involved were just plain lazy and dont get out much. either way it feels like someone has spent a lot of time looking at other ads from a long time ago when ads went through a funny period in the late 90’s early 2000’s and put it all in a mixer and this was vomited out.
sorry. but i get really angry when ads like these are still being made. as creative people we should always be pushing for new and original. this isnt.
