Michael Raso returns home as ECD of McCann

MicahelRaso.jpegMichael Raso is joining McCann Sydney as executive creative director, replacing Vince McSweeney, who is moving to the UK, where he will be ECD at McCann in Birmingham. 

The appointment seesRaso return home to Sydney from New York where he has been SVP group creativedirector at McCann New York. His work on MasterCard picked up the agency’sfirst ever London International Gold, Kelly award, Cannes shortlists and praisein the New York Times.

Raso began his career in advertising as art director at OMON Sydney, where he worked for five years before relocating to New York where he worked at Ammirati Puris Lintas, JWT and Deutsch on brands that included Burger King, UPS and Bank of America. 

From there he moved to Batey/Redcell in Singapore where he took the regional creative director reignson Mercedes-Benz and Singapore Airlines.
