The AFL, via agency George Patterson Y&R, Melbourne is to launching a new TV, radio and outdoor campaign tonight to promote the Toyota AFL Finals Series with the line “This is Greatness”.
The animated spot was produced by XYZ Studios.

Anyone see the giant projection of this on the southern stand at the MCG? It was freak’n amazing. People everywhere just stopped to film it on their cameras.
I just felt jealous, no one sees my advertising.

If you watch AFL on Foxtel you’ll know this work is weeks old. What is it with Patts posting stuff like this and The Australian mediocrity (month’s old). Anything for a bit of P.R. Desperate.
Turn up the passion in the VO and this could be ok.

Actually looks like it is inspired from the Ch10 AFL opener. Cutouts, ink splots…
Say what you like about eyespy, he’s right.
I still like it, and think it looks good (well executed XYZ) but no doubt it is derivative.
