stringtheorey.jpgString Theory has created a campaign for Goodbooks, the online bookstore that gives 100% of profits to charity through Oxfam.

Says Jeremy Taine from String Theory: “My partner and I started this 6 years ago – and as far as we know it is still the only zero-expenditure charity in the world. All work is donated gratis. At the end of last year I wrote a campaign telling the Goodbooks’ story in the style of famous authors. My producer then hawked the scripts around the best animation houses in the world.”

Taine added: “The Goodbooks’ story is in the style of Hunter S Thompson as told by the mighty Buck TV in LA – I’m sure you will have heard of them. They even talked Antfood in NY into doing the soundtrack for us. We’re pretty stoked with the result, since we launched on Tuesday it has garnered something like 42,000 views on Vimeo and has been featured on the Huffington Post blog and in the Washington Post – amongst others. Watch this space for the next one.”
