team.jpgWireless HiFi System manufacturer Sonos has kicked off a new campaign titled ‘Listening is back’ that heroes global music icons using Sonos in their homes whilst going about their daily routines.

The first creative execution features electro-house DJ/producer Deadmau5 in his Toronto home as he grooves through his morning routine with a fitting playlist, some toast and his cat Professor Meowingtons, all while wearing his distinctive Mau5head.

The global campaign will be delivered through online videos which can be viewed on the Sonos blog here and here  as well as online, outdoor and print advertising.  In Australia, it will feature across billboards in NSW, QLD and VIC, music magazines, inflight titles and across youth media.

Says Sonos Australia managing director Niv Novak: “This campaign captures and celebrates the act of listening via Sonos in unique, personal ways. The campaign offers an authentic glimpse into how music’s most discerning ears listen to what they love.  The music, Sonos products, and moments of listening are the heroes of the campaign.”

With a wave of music streaming services hitting Australia, Sonos is set to radically amplify the music listening experience. The system allows music lovers to stream all the music on earth, wirelessly, in any room and control it with their iPhone, iPad, Android Smartphone or tablet.

“There’s a listening revolution happening and Sonos is leading the charge,” Novak added.  “Our first global campaign “Listen out loud” provided an invitation to take the ear phones out and enjoy music the way it was meant to be heard – out loud.”
