Whybin\TBWA\Tequila partnered with Will O’Rourke and The Glue Society to create a complete working ‘concept’ car out of an array of extras from all different car makes and models. This journey was documented through NRMA Insurance’s Facebook page.

The final stage of the campaign including the car itself, will run across TV, press, outdoor, display and content on YouTube.

The campaign, developed by Whybin\TBWA\Tequila and Mediacom, highlights how many car parts other insurers consider “extras” and don’t automatically cover. Parts like air conditioning, leather seats, alloy wheels, power steering and even floor mats may not be covered. In fact, there are so many extras that other insurers don’t automatically cover, they created a car using them.

The web promotion through nrma.com.au/carcreation allows people to vote on the car’s name and win $10,000.

Support media channels include online, Facebook, outdoor (street furniture and shopping centre), press, radio and PR
