Campaign Brief 239.pngCorbis, a leading digital content and services provider for the creative and entertainment communities, today announced the appointment of Jonathan Borowski as its senior advertising account manager in Australia.

In his new Sydney-based role, Borowski will work to build Corbis’ portfolio of clients in the Australian market and will be responsible for acquiring, expanding, and retaining key accounts.

Borowski joins Corbis after six years at rival Getty Images where he was a senior account manager in the sales team.

Prior to Getty Images, he worked in the UK as a sales executive before moving to Australia.

Utilising his previous experience, Borowski will work to effectively present Corbis services and collections, content and front-end systems to clients at all levels. In addition to working with his local team members, he will liaise with account managers worldwide to coordinate sales strategies on global accounts.

Says Adam Read, senior sales manager for Corbis: “Jonathan brings many years of experience to the role that will greatly benefit the Corbis team and our continued focus on growing the brand here in Australia. His expertise in working with a diverse workforce, along with his solid advertising account experience will play a critical role in further cementing Corbis as a key player in the Australian creative landscape.”

Says Borowski: “Corbis is continually evolving as a company and establishing itself amongst its industry peers across Australia and around the world. I’m excited to be part of the evolution of the Australian business and am looking forward to working with such a creative community of employees and expanding the Corbis brand.”
