Make Me Appy.jpegCutting Edge today announced the launch of their national ‘Make Me Appy‘ campaign.

‘Make Me Appy’ invites members of the Australia wide advertising, production, design and marketing communities to submit their best APP idea.

The winning submission will then be produced by Cutting Edge’s digital team, up to the value of $20,000. The prize includes design and development, right through to getting the App launched on App store.

Entries will be judged by Dave Bullard, editor of Macworld Australia, and will be assessed on their creativity, originality, commercial viability and adherence to budget. Entries will remain the property of the entrant.

Nic Harman, Cutting Edge’s director of marketing, said Cutting Edge had a long history of helping bring creative ideas to light, and this was further evidence of that commitment.

Says Harman: “These days, almost everyone has a great APP idea in their heads. They just don’t necessarily have the time or cash to make it a reality. Make Me Appy’ helps break down those barriers.”

  • The competition commences on 16 July 2012 at 12.05 (AEST) and concludes on 31 August 2012 at 23:55.
  • The entrant will retain ownership of the winning submission. Source code rights (including copyright and patent rights) in the Winning APP vest in Cutting Edge.
  • One (1) prize winner will receive the prize in the form of services rendered by Cutting Edge, and will include scoping, design and development of the winning App concept.
  • Prize valued and capped at $20,000 AUD (incl GST)
