DDB Group Sydney strengthens with appointment of Holler’s Richard Morgan as creative director

Richard Morgan1.jpgCB Exclusive – DDB Group Sydney has announced the appointment of Richard Morgan as creative director.

 

Previously at leading digital agency Holler, Morgan joins the DDB Group Sydney creative team fresh off its recent awards success, including ‘Best in Show’ at IAB and four Cannes Lions, which included a Gold.

Morgan commented that he feels the timing is right to move on from Holler and he is leaving the agency in great shape.

Prior to joining Holler, Morgan spent six years at BMF Sydney as associate CD, where he was one of the agency’s most awarded creatives. Before that he spent three years at AMV•BBDO London.

 

Morgan brings a breadth of industry experience having worked on accounts including Lion Nathan, Reckitt Benkiser, Bonds, Heineken, Meat & Livestock Association, Dairy Farmers, Goodman Fielder, IKEA, British Telecom, Telstra, Toyota, Guinness, Mars, Coca Cola, Pfizer, Gillette, The Economist and more.

 

He has also won multiple industry awards including Gold, Silver and Bronze at Cannes, Silver at D&AD, Gold at the One Show, British Television Awards, Caples, ECHO, London International, Silvers at Clio, six silvers and 12 bronze at AWARD. 

 

Morgan has also lectured Communications Council AdSchool, was on the 2012 Digital AWARD judging panel and lectured this year’s AWARD School.
