LG Electronics engages former Miss Australia Erin McNaught to launch new smartphone range

LG Electronics Australia (LG) has today launched its first smartphone range, the L-Style series.

The series will include four handsets; the flagship model Optimus L7, Optimus L5, Optimus L3 and Optimus L2-Dual SIM, each sporting the anticipated new design identity, which was enthusiastically received when announced at Mobile World Congress earlier this year.

To bring the L-Style series to life, LG has engaged popular TV personality and former Miss Australia Erin McNaught as the face of the new range. McNaught will star in the dedicated L-Style TVC which is due to air nationally from late July.

Says Ben Glimmerveen, head of LG’s Mobile Communication: “L-Style provides consumers with a new range of smartphones that are not only easy to use, but are also visually appealing, packed with all the necessary features for users to get a first-class experience from their smartphone every day.

“Through our experience, we believe that design and visual appeal still top the list of factors that are most important to people when purchasing a mobile.”
