clickenergy.jpgOnline energy retailer Click Energy has launched a new campaign from Melbourne creative studio Yoke.

Promoting Click Energy’s introductory offer of 15% off your energy bills plus $100 sign up bonus, the campaign includes a TV spot, press ads, a significant online presence and an accompanying Facebook competition.

With low rates and no credit card surcharges, Click Energy is regularly identified by energy price comparison sites as one of the cheapest suppliers in the market.

The latest Energy Retailers Comparative Performance report released last week by the government’s Essential Services Commission has, for the third time in a row, highlighted the value of Click Energy, with the company being one of two retailers deemed as offering the lowest standing offer prices for the majority of zones and tariff types.

This competitive price point was used as a basis for the campaign, which depicts Click Energy’s bills as being ones consumers don’t have to be afraid of.

Says Mehdi Qerim, Click Energy’s CEO: “We’ve always been a little different from the other, larger energy retailers out there, including our environmentally friendly, no-paper billing. So we wanted a campaign that showed our understanding of our customers’ attitudes to electricity. No one likes getting bills, but hopefully our cheaper rates mean that our bills aren’t as bad as others – the campaign just plays with that idea really.”
