Ikea lets customers play and experiment with new KLIPPBOK iPad app via The Monkeys and Nomad

KLIPPBOK_Store_2048x1496_5.jpgIKEA Australia has just launched KLIPPBOK, an inspiration platform that allows customers to experiment with their favourite IKEA products and create innovative ideas for their home on their iPad and desktop via The Monkeys and built by Nomad.

Based on the success of a moodboard site with IKEA fans earlier this year, The Monkeys created KLIPPBOK (Swedish for scrapbook) – a scrapbooking tool that gives users the creative freedom to bring their ideas to life while developing moodboards, scrapbooks and even full roomsets.

KLIPPBOK_Store_2048x1496_2.jpgSays Rebecca Darley, national marketing manger, IKEA Australia: “This is part of our ongoing strategy to give Aussies the confidence to get more involved and bring life to their home in a fun and engaging way. We know our customers are looking for inspiration and ideas, and the KLIPPBOK app gives them the confidence to try new things and have a go.”

Users can share their inspiration with friends KLIPPBOK_Store_2048x1496_3.jpgto get a second opinion, share it on Facebook or post it on the KLIPPBOK gallery.
