Clemenger BBDO Adelaide lures Jason Hollamby for senior creative role + Tom Opie as copywriter

Jason Hollamby.jpgClemenger BBDO Adelaide has snared Jason Hollamby (left) for a senior creative role within the agency as well as hiring Tom Opie as copywriter.

 

Hollamby is a proven creative all-rounder with broad awards success who will help build on the international standard that Clemenger BBDO Group sets in South Australia.

 

In the past year Hollamby’s work has won the Big Idea and the Digital categories at AADC Awards, plus a Gold Clio, and finalists at the One Show and Cannes. Hollamby also has an Effie Award and Effie finalist to his name.

Says Karl Fleet, Clemenger BBDO Adelaide ECD: “Jason is a fantastic talent. He has a strong strategic and creative mind. He was at the top of our list of people we wanted to help us continue to lift our creative standard.”

Says Hollamby: “South Australia has loads of great clients who expect world-class work. Clemenger Adelaide is now among the top agencies in Australia and generating some really exciting projects. 2013 is going to be a brilliant year.”

 

Tom Opie.jpgThis is Opie’s second time at Clemenger BBDO Adelaide. After finishing a degree in Journalism and International Studies, Opie (left) worked as a journalist before joining Clemenger BBDO Adelaide in account service in 2010.

Due to increasing opportunities with his band ‘The Salvadors’, after a year, Opie left to pursue his music career. He spent much of 2011 and early 2012 touring the country off the back of receiving high rotation national airplay on Triple J radio.

Opie has just recently finished AWARD School.

Says Fleet: “Tom had a great book and an awesome attitude. He has already made a huge impact and we expect some great things from him in 2013. Being an actual rock star was also a huge bonus.”
