OMD Australia lures awarded Dan Robins from Carat London for national head of search role

Dan Robins-web.jpgOMD Australia continues to build its agency credentials luring international award winning Search expert, Dan Robins to join its team as National Head of Search.

Effective immediately Robins will report into Paul Elliott, National Head of Digital, Direct & Data, and will be responsible for driving ‘best-in-class’ solutions for OMD’s PPC search operation across all Australian offices.

Robins joins OMD from Carat London where he was Head of Paid Search for the UK, responsible for the strategic growth of clients such as Vodafone, General Motors, Santander, Travelodge and Diageo. Previous experience also includes The Search Works (UK), where Robins led the implementation of large accounts multiple verticals such as The Body Shop and Mothercare, as well as clients in France, Germany, Japan and Scandinavia.

With a string of accolades accredited to his work in the search space, Robins was awarded at the Resolution Awards, eConsultancy Awards and Marketing Innovation Awards in the last year alone, as well as coming highly commended in the Performance Marketing Awards, and Media Week Awards.

Robins will look to build on existing growth and further enhance OMD’s capabilities in the paid search space.
