Great visuals. Plonky rhythm.
Sweet end line
I take it the romance has ended with BWM then.
One can appreciate the ambience they’re trying to create, but the gorgeous old Alfas are far more desirable and stylish than the box on wheels with an Alfa grille they’re actually attempting to sell.
Would have been nice to see a race off with the old and new one.
Went down the muddy black and white path I see, it doesn’t look that good. You are clearly lacking post production guidance and expertise. Clunky edit, clunky grade, average music. Why do you keep doing that??? to save a buck?
Just as boring as the Agassi yawn you made earlier.
So the formula continues.. Find a piece of music(doesn’t matter if it fits) team it with a dorky moody black and white retro looking sequence and bobs your aunties defacto… More pap from Cummins Dross
I never write on this blog but geez you guys are good at pumping out crappy car ads. You prey on fringe car brands and keep them on the outskirts. Jeep ads meh, Chrysler ads, meh meh now alpha romeo… Nope.
there’s an edge of difference that might be a hard to interpret for some rut riding car ad makers
I do think the black and white was a mistake, it comes across as old fashioned.
Or maybe that’s just everyone involved?
I love this ad, I think CR have pitched it perfectly.
I mean what has Alfa got going for it over, say, BMW: heritage. You go back 50 years and Alfa were making gorgeous, class-leading, race-winning cars, while BMW were making 3 wheeled, 236cc, bubble cars.
So, this must be exploited and what better way than B&W, moody soundtrack and shallow DOF.
Good work.
Serioulsly, WHAT THE Alfa??
The Music is uncaptivating.
The IMAGERY used to sell car?? A Terrific load of fluff from LADS that live IN THE PAST.
REDEMPTION or go THE SAAB WAY. That’s way MORE SEXY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hate the ad. Song sounds nightmareish. Is there a Worse Ad category this ad can go into?
what is the singer in the ad actually saying? Can’t understand it.
