Visual Jazz Isobar has been working alongside David Jones as their digital strategic partner for the last two years and events like the Fashion Launch live stream have been fundamental in reinforcing the retailer's position as the authority on Australian fashion as well as giving people greater access to the brand.

This year, the launch will offer consumers the opportunity to tweet their celebrity questions to Jason Dundas who will be interviewing guests live from the red carpet, choose to watch the show from multiple camera angles, vote on key trends and save their favourite looks.

The event will feature David Jones ambassadors Miranda Kerr, Samantha Harris and Jason Dundas, showcasing over 200 looks from this season's hottest trends.

Says Hannah Donovan, associate planning director at Visual Jazz Isobar, Sydney: "We've really upped the ante with this launch, by giving viewers more control of the live stream experience. It's a massive production, we will have 5 cameramen on site, along with 7 production crew and 8 other team members pulling it all together."

Says Lucy Mitchell, digital marketing manager for David Jones: "The last two live stream events have been very successful, resulting in a significant uplift in positive conversation and engagement with the David Jones brand in the social space. We are really excited that Visual Jazz Isobar has continued to raise the standard of this production and we look forward to a positive response to the show."

Hah! I love that our local companies think a live stream is worth press releasing.

That's how bad digital work in this country is. Still belatedly leveraging foreign ideas.
