Filmgraphics director Phil Meatchem named finalist at The Bald Archy Prize for ‘Gill Trip’

Animation, C.G.I and live action director Phil Meatchem of Filmgraphics Entertainment is a finalist at this year’s The Bald Archy Prize.

The Bald Archy Prize is regarded as Australia’s favourite comic portrait competition. And Meatchem’s entry titled “Gill Trip” is a fun poke at certain moments in the history of Australian Politics.

Meatchem is a regular finalist and this will be his fourth entry to date. The Bald Archy is currently exhibiting at the Watson Art Centre in Canberra from 8th Feb to 11th March and will be touring in Sydney from the 5th April to 5th May at the The Arches – Independent Theatre. The winner will be announced in Sydney on the 4th April 2013.
