ALZHEIMERS_lowres.jpgInterbrand Australia has walked away with the ‘Best of Award’ in this year’s Rebrand 100 Global Awards for their work with Alzheimer’s Australia and QAGOMA plus a distinction for Griffin Theatre Company.

Other agencies that placed in the distinction category included Nicknack for their work with LLL (Lutheran Laypeople’s League) as well as SCF Group and Principal with a distinction for Neighbour Connections and a merit for Coolum Residences and Navy Health. Merits for Australian agencies went to Folk for their work with the Australian Federal Police and Founded by Design for Loud Communications.

QAGOMA_LowRes.jpgSays Damian Borchok, CEO of Interbrand Australia: “Over the past 12 months, we’ve worked hard with both Alzheimer’s Australia and QAGOMA to help them reposition and change their world. To win not one but two REBRAND 100 Global Awards is a rewarding achievement, and one that we couldn’t have achieved LLLNicknack.jpgwithout the unique combination of strategists, graphic designers, motion designers, writers and managers whom make up Interbrand.”

The REBRAND 100 Global Awards is the first and most respected recognition for repositioned brands, and it is featured in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, CNN Money, and SCFGroupNicknack.jpgBloomberg Businessweek. The awards focus on telling the complete story of a rebrand, from strategy to creative, including details of before and after, and the impact of the work in terms of commercial objectives.

Says Allen Adamson, juror andNC Principals.jpg managing director, Landor Associates: “This year’s REBRAND 100 winners teach us the ever-important lesson that a brand’s value comes not from size and scale, but from telling a smart story consistently across customer experiences.”

Says Richard Curtis, Interbrand Sydney’s managing director: “I couldn’t be happier with these awards, after what’s been an incredibly prolific period for everyone here at Interbrand Australia. It’s a privilege to be able to add our success in the REBRAND 100 Global Awards to the recognition over the past year from D&AD, Cannes, Brand New, Spikes Asia, Create Design Awards and the Australian Design Biennale.”
