His experience working inside and outside the agency environment on global campaigns for Adidas, Sony, Omega and Motorola amongst others gives him a unique capability to bring unchartered projects to life.

As executive creative director and partner of 180 Amsterdam, Bullock led the agency to unprecedented worldwide success, while simultaneously developing his documentary film and photography skills. In 2009, he became a full time writer/director.

One of his most unique talents is directing projects in remote and sometimes difficult locations – with particular focus on uniting commerce with social causes.

He has shot films about climate change in Peru, eye surgery in Mongolia, heart disease in Rwanda and plastic surgery in South Africa. His long form films have run on the National Geographic Channel, Eurosport and the BBC.

Bullock has already completed work for the local market, directing projects for Lotterywest, OPSM and Mastercard.

Says Michael Ritchie, executive producer: “Richard will be bringing an extraordinary set of skills and experiences to both Will O’Rourke and Revolver. Projects which have no precedent require talented people at the helm who have vision, ambition and humility in equal measure. And Richard hasn’t had the success he has already achieved without good reason. His desire to make new things happen is infectious.”

Says Bullock: “Will O’Rourke is an exciting new venture, which over and above Revolver’s achievements, makes it a particularly appealing place to be joining. The desire to help produce ideas which haven’t been done before is hugely inspiring. And I’m looking forward to playing my part in collaborating with some of the best creative people in Australia.”

Bullock will be represented by Revolver/Will O’Rourke in Australasia, and will continue to be rostered to Hungryman in the USA & UK.
