Brett Danton joins Maven Productions

Maven Productions has announced the signing of Brett Danton (left) to its roster for representation in Australasia.

A highly experienced, international photographer with commercial history spanning 20 years, Danton made the transition to cinematographer and last year, director.

Danton recently directed the 60 second spot for ActewAGL in ACT as well as the PCYC spot with Footy Show stars Darren Lockyer and Brad Fittler.

Says Danton: “Directing has always been a love of mine, but I wanted to learn the visual side before attempting story telling. Joining forces with Maven Productions is an exciting venture as they’re a boutique agency that supports my vision for the future.”

Says James Whitehill, executive producer of Maven: “I’m naturally skeptical when a photographer says they are now directing motion, as they often make good cinematographers, but the art of story telling is a gift. Brett showed me some personal work, which left me so impressed; I knew he had what it takes.”
